Monsters now drop various monster cards that can make you more powerful in Grand Chase. However, not all monsters can drop these cards- so hunt wisely!

These cards have added stats and abilities, depending on the power and rarity of the card. As with the various item grades, monster cards are classed along the following rarities: Normal, Rare, Epic, and Legend.

Socketing System
Release the true power of Monsters Cards by putting them in your Items! To do this, you must have the appropriate item, monster card, and socket jewels to allow monster card insertion.
First, you must unseal the socket for the selected item with the Socket Jewel, available in the Item Mall.

Socket Jewel: The item used to unlock Sockets or extract monster cards.
Go to your character’s inventory and click the Socket option for the selected item. Then select the Unseal Socket tab to view available sockets. Click Open Socket to open a new slot in that item, up to a maximum of 4 sockets - however, make sure that your equipment can handle more sockets! The rarer the item, the more sockets it can hold for you.

Attaching a Monster Card
To attach a monster card, go to the Attach Monster Card tab- this will display your item’s available and occupied sockets. Click on an empty socket to bring up your available monster cards- pick the card you wish to insert and then click Ok. Once done, click Attach Card to insert the card to your item.

IMPORTANT! This will cost you GP depending on your item’s rarity

Lastly, you can extract your monster cards for transfer to other items. Select the Extract Monster Card option, then select the socket you want to remove the card from, and then click Extract Card. Each extraction will cost you a certain amount of socket crystals, so choose carefully!
